I Am Mystery

We just finished a series called A Church for the City. The series came directly from the content of our 6 week Ownership Seminar Series (or membership class). We ended the series with the invitation to "Own Mystery" as your church. What's the Difference Between Ownership and Membership?
The term "member" carries little weight or importance in our culture today. Most memberships are painless to obtain and even easier to discard. We want people to become owners of Mystery. Members are usually just consumers, owners however are investors that make things happen.
If you are a follower of Christ, then you are a co-owner of His church. We invite you to help make Mystery happen. Owning Mystery is a declaration that you are moving from being a consumer to being an investor--that you are joining not simply just the community of Christ, but the whole cause of Christ. It is not what you can receive, but what you can give.
Jesus does not need us for anything, he invites us into participation. Mystery does however need your help to accomplish God’s calling on our church in this city. We are asking you to own the church rather than simply watching and consuming. We are calling people to ownership--to live sacrificially so people can meet Jesus.
If you have completed the Ownership Series and would like to take part in becoming an Owner of Mystery click the image above to download our Ownership Covenant, Pledge & Questionnaire and then email us at ownership@mysterychurch.com to arrange for an interview with the pastor.
These are exciting times to be involved and committed to Mystery. We hope you will consider enjoying the ride with us as active participants.
